Full Pack, Partial Pack, and Cartons We Bring Ourselves
Packing is the piece most households underestimate. The kitchen alone swallows an entire Saturday, and a Friday-night cram is exactly how stemware ends up in pieces by Sunday morning. Summit packs the whole house or just the rooms you would rather not touch, and the cartons ride in with the truck on packing day: book boxes, dish-packs, wardrobes, mirror cartons, packing paper, bubble wrap, tape, dish-pack inserts. Nobody needs to hit the hardware store at ten on Friday night to guess at how many medium boxes the kitchen actually needs.
Our packers go room by room. Every carton gets labeled by destination room as it is sealed, so the unload at the new place is a matter of dropping boxes where they belong rather than rebuilding an avalanche of unsorted cardboard in the front room. Dishes ride paper-wrapped inside dish-packs, mirrors and framed art sandwich between pads, lamps come off their harps, electronics cords get bagged with their gear, and the bin you want to keep visible (the deed folder, the passports, the prescriptions) stays separate in a labeled tote that does not go on the truck.

Full pack means Summit handles the home end to end, from the linen closet upstairs down to the loaded truck in the drive. Partial pack means the easy stuff (books, linens, the master closet) goes in your own cartons and our crew handles the kitchen, the china cabinet, the garage workshop, the basement storage room, the spots that turn into a Sunday afternoon nobody planned for. Megan walks the home and decides with you which rooms cross the line. The result on the other end is the same: a clean labeled stack instead of a chaos of mystery boxes.

Two movers and our truck run $135 an hour, or a binding flat from $420
Built into that hourly: the truck, two uniformed Summit movers, blankets, dollies, shrink wrap, walk-boards — everything off the rig, with no fuel surcharge or stair fee tacked on at the end.
